Okay, so you are at the Managua International Airport (MGA), now what? Below you will find some info on how to get from Managua to the Surf Ranch and San Juan Del Sur (which is about a 2.5 hour drive south west). 1st Step | You get off the plane and enter customs. At this point you will be required to pay a $10.00 USD entry fee which you can only pay in US Cash or Nicaraguan Cordoba’s. After the payment, you will receive a tourist card (keep this), and a passport stamp. If you stay in Nicaragua for longer than 90 days, you will be required to pay roughly $2 USD for each day that you’ve exceeded your stay, at the airport or international border prior to your departure. If you would like to stay longer than 90 days, there are a couple ways to do so. 1. Visit the office of Immigration in Managua (Telephone +505.2244.0741). 2. Simply cross the Costa Rica Border which is a 30 minute drive from San Juan Del Sur and return on the same day. We can help you with this, if you need to, no problem. 2nd Step | After customs, you pick up your luggage, and then head out the front doors of the airport. By now you have either decided to stay in Managua for the night and go to San Juan Del Sur the next morning, or just go straight to San Juan Del Sur. LOCAL TRANSPORTATION SABIHA GOKCEN AIRPORT; Sabiha Gokcen Airport takes place on the Asian Side of Istanbul which is a quite far from the city center. There is a bus company called as "HAVATAS" , they do have shuttles every hour starting from 04.00 AM in the morning till 01.00 AM to different locations. What you can do is, you can either take the one and heading to "TAKSIM". It will last an hour and 15 minutes approximately and 10€ for per person. Then you can get a taxi to our hotel and that will take 15-20 more minutes. ATATURK AIRPORT; You can get the metro underneath of the Ataturk International Airport to Zeytinburnu Terminal Station. You need to get off at Zeytinburnu , then you need to take a tram to Sultanahmet Station. Tram will announce the Sultanahmet-Blue Mosque Station. The hotel is located 5 minutes away from the Sultanahmet Tram Station.
