Pioneer Camp
Pioneer Camp is the most relaxing lodge around Lusaka. Only 14 kms (20 mins drive) from the airport or shopping centers of Arcades and Manda Hill, Pioneer Camp is the last oasis stopover on the way to South Luangwa and Malawi. We offer 14 individual, thatched chalets and a beautiful 2 bedroomed cottage each set within 25 acres of Miombo woodland. The chalets range from simple stylish comfort to the highest levels of luxury expected at any top safari lodge. All en suite chalets have verandas with lovely woodland views and are very private, just a minutes walk from the main camp. At the centre of the Pioneer camp is the open thatched bar and restaurant or 'Chitenge'. This is for residents' only and is open from 0700 until 2300 everyday.
